These below are all the UK hip scores that I have taken
from the KC records and from previous data given to me from other UK Clumber
owners. Previous to 1991 only very low ( good) scores were published, so
most of these results have been gleaned from various sources - this is not a
complete list. Since 1991 the KC have published all scores - so these should
be accurate and a complete record of all Clumbers scored in the UK - human
error allowing. Most have both hips recorded, where a single figure is shown
it is the total hip score from both hips.
There are also some Australian
dogs added to the database - hopefully more will be added, when I get
details. These entries are in black.
I have also added some dogs exported to Sweden or dogs
bred in Sweden by UK dogs.
They are in date of birth order to start the list - I thought this was best
so that it could be used as an aid for breeding purposes, rather than
alphabetical, though I might change it in the future.
From
now on all new
scores will be added to the bottom of the list as received from the KC
quarterly. This is being done purely as my hobby to be available to help
breed enthusiasts around the world .
Where there is an elbow score then they have
been added in with the hip score .
At the bottom of the page are some stats - what do they
show ? Like all statistics only a guide. In the years 1977-1990 only a few
dogs are shown - more were scored, but I don't have the records. Since then
all dogs have been published and hence recorded here. The last few years
they do seem to have improved - mainly due to the numbers of Clumbers that
have been bred and scored from working lines - largely based on the Leybel
breeding of Mabel Hall. Her line starting from the second and third
entries in this list. (I haven't broken the statistics down to working v
show - as I think it is fairly obvious and could be rather divisive !)
